Do you remember going to your high school prom?  Remember how important your dress was and every little item that goes with it like the prom garter?  Boy oh boy, I wanted everything just so.  I drove my mother crazy. Our prom gave everyone really nice prom party favors.  The committee that picked out our favors for prom did a really nice job.  I heard that the garters were considered, by some, to be cheap prom favors.  I did not agree.  I loved mine and still have to this day, in my high school scrapbook.  I wonder how I will feel when I get to pick out my wedding favors and a wedding garter.  I don’t want my guests to think my favors are cheap.  I hope they appreciate all the time and energy I will spend picking out just the right favors for them. Well, my wedding is a long way off, I think…. you never know when Mr. Wonderful will come along.
